This will be our newest course 2012 will be the
first time this part of the filed will be used for
open play and regular events. So far this part
of the field has only been used for Military
Games 09, 10, and 11 and an airsoft big game
put on by an outside promoter. We would like
to make some more trails through this part of
the field and build a few forts as well over the
next few seasons.
There is and open area of the field between the Ammo
Depo, POW Camp and Down Pine Course. We are looking
to start to build this area up into a real nice Urban course.
We have a fairly large area to do this and can build up quite
the course. We put up the first three buildings late in the 09
season at the end of 2011 season we were at 8 buildings and
a 9th started. I would like to keep adding 3 or more buildings
a year as well as adding cars, signs and more props.
This course, or part of the field was first used for
military games '08. Since then we have built a
several room fort. This has a creek that goes
right down the middle of the course and the creek
runs right next to the fort. During the 2012 season
we plan on adding another building and camp
sites to the course as well. I also hope to add a
second story tower to the fort in the near future.
Urban
This is one of the newer courses. It does not have a lot of
man made obstacles. However it does have a lot of down
trees and Natural obstacles and bunkers. We had a large
storm that knocked just about half of the old pine trees down
pulling some of them up by the roots. The terrain has a
couple of deep valleys and some ridge lines. Some of the
down trees are like huge forts just them selves. I had one of
the best times I have had playing Airsoft the first time I
played this course after the storm!
Ridge
AMMO DEPO
The Ridge course is a long a ridge line. This
course is often times played with the Junk yard
course and attacked from below in a d-day style
attack. Other times it is played with the junkyard
and neither team starts with it how ever either team
can use it in the game. With smaller groups the
Ridge course can be a fun time fighting between
the built up bunkers along the ridge.
POW CAMP
Down Pines
This course was built for small groups. It is wooded
with pallets and tire bunkers through out the course.
This course was designed to be intense and fast.
The course is meant so that you will run into the
opposing team shortly after the start of the game.
This course allows you to get plenty of action in a
woods environment. This course is the farthest from
our new parking area so it does not get used as much.
Woods course II
This is the second oldest course. It has many
options available based on what size area you wish
to play on. This course can be divided based on the
size area the players want to use or number of
people playing. The South side of this course has a
creek flowing through it. During times of the year the
creek bed is dried up, however it usually has plenty
of places to cross with only a few feet of water in
others. The South side of the course has both
natural and man made obstacles and bunkers. In the
middle of the course there is an open area filled with
Tire Bunkers. This gives players cover when going
from the North to the South side (or vice versa).
However players will often times go right up the
middle of the course using the tires like they would
bunkers on a speed ball course. On the north side it
is all natural vegetation with natural obstacles or
bunkers. What direction you choose to follow to
eliminate your opponent is up to you.
Woods Course I
For those who have been long time customers and friends of
Combat Airsoft, you know that the Junk Yard is where it all
began. This course has just about anything and everything
from old school buses to old farm equipment. This is now
our premier field used the whole season.
