2011 waiver (signed by parent or guardian if under 18)
Nylon Barrel Blockers with Re enforced Nylon End
Eye protection with full seal around the eye with ANSI rating of 87.1 I would have an
alternate set of eye protection with if you have the mesh style goggles as I have to
approve them personally. I do allow some versions. If they are the glasses style like
they must be full seal around they eye and have a strap that holds them gained the
players face.
Staging Area
No Magazines in weapons in the staging area. All weapons must be dry fired and
cleared prior to leaving the field for the staging area barrel Blockers also placed on
weapons as well as safety on before leaving the field. Barrel Blockers must be on at
all times in the staging area unless working on a weapon (weapon must have been
cleared and dry fired on the field) prior to bringing back to staging area to work on.
There is no dry firing at all in the staging area. The only place off the field this can
be done is at the Range (chrono area).
FPS is 450 with .20g unless you have to manually load each round into the
chamber prior to firing another round. If you manually load each round into the
chamber in order to fire you can fall into the sniper class. With a 550 FPS limit with
.20g. You also have a 100ft engagement stand off with the sniper class. V.S. the
10ft engagement stand off with all other weapons other than rubber knife.
Blind Fire
Blind fire is not allowed. An example of blind fire would be were you stick your
weapon around the corner and shoot or over the top of the bunker and shoot and
do not see the general area your bbs are going. You do not have to look down the
site to shoot your weapon. But you must see were you are shooting.
BLINDMAN Stops the game. If there is a serious injury or unsafe situation (beyond
normal airsoft play) such as some one removed there eye protection from there eye
or a situation lead to it being removed from protection a players eyes.
How do I eliminate another player?
1 Airsoft Grenade that throws airsoft bb's and one hits another live player.
2 Airsoft Claymore that throws airsoft bb's and one hits another live player.
3 Knife kill by tapping another player on the shoulder with your hand or rubber
knife and letting them know "You are dead"
4 Another player taking a surrender....(this is there option) they do not have to
surrender.
5 Bang kill This is only good with in 15ft. Weapon must be pointing in the general
direction of the other player (finger out of trigger guard area). If player has weapon
facing the general direction of your self and says bang as well even close to when
you said bang you could be eliminated as well unless you both chose to do a
parlay (Parlay will be talked about more under Parlay)
6 You shoot a Nerf or JCS FOAM Rocket out of an approved launcher and it hits a
bunker that another player is using as immediate cover. (buildings this only
eliminated those in the room with the wall that was hit with a rocket. Rockets do not
eliminate players in Vehicles only disables Vehicles and with two hits takes the
Vehicle out of play and back to one base or another.
7 You hit another player with an airsoft bb from your weapon.
8 if player engages you with a bb from a distance closer then 10 ft they are also
eliminated (unless Claymore or Grenade). If this becomes known to be habit of said
player they can be eliminated from the event its self.
What is considered a hit?
If it is physically being moved with your person or on your person and it gets hit with
a bb under the above conditions you are eliminated and it is considered a hit. So
yes if it hits my pack It is a hit. If it hits your weapon it is a hit. If it hits a prop you
are carrying with you, you are hit. If it bounces off something and hits you it is a hit.
If it bounces off another player you are hit as well as them. If the bb came from
some one on your own team it is a hit. With a hit you are eliminated and must go
back to respawn point in order to come back in the game. Respawn is immediate
there is no respawn wait time.
What is Parlay?
Parlay is an option were to players bang killed each other AND were both facing
towards each other AND weapons were pointing in the general direction of each
other AND bang kills were said close to one another AND both players decide to
take the parlay option.
1 At the time the bang kills were made both players call them selves out.
2. Ask each other if they wish to Parlay and both players agree.
3. Both players move in a direction opposite of each other were they are behind
cover and farther then 10 ft away from each other.
4. Ask each other if they are ready to come back in the game.
5. Notify players you are now coming back in the game by yelling out that you are
back in the game (at least twice)
6 At the time that you yell out that you are coming back in the game you are now
back in the game. Make sure you are behind cover as you can not engage your self
till you are done yelling out that you are back in the game loud and clear at least
two times.
Sportsmanship
Is required at Combat Paintball. Players can be removed from the event for bad
sportsmanship.
Such as but not limited to.
Not calling your hits.
Players will usually be talked to by my self and be warned at least once first. Also
keep in mind if we hear you are not calling your hits you may have a ref following
you all over the field. Not very exciting and probably annoying....
You must call your own hits on the field.
Assault on another player. This can include continuing to shoot another player after
it is obvious that he has called him self out and you should know he is out. This
also includes doing anything trying to cause injury to another player.
It is bad sportsmanship to yell across the field at another player because you think
he is not calling his hits. There is a process for handling this situation and this is not
one of them. These players have become less and less and I don't have a lot of
issues with this as much any more because of how I handle these players. I also
want to know if you see some one on your own team not calling there hits. This will
be gone over to a great extent in the brief before the event starts both Friday night
and Saturday as well.
Threats and racist remarks are not tolerated. Threats can only be made as part of
game play fitting the scenario and situation. Not at another player directly and is at
the discretion of my self and staff if it crossed the lines. Depending on the extent it
could result in just a warning.
Talking smack to other players.....I understand some people are friends out on the
field and the need or with to talk smack. This is not tolerated on the field. If you with
to talk smack save it for the staging area when you are in your group of friends.
This takes away from game play on the field as well as people taking it as being
bad sportsmanship as not every body knows that "its ok" Or "cool" because it is just
one of your friends you are talking to. Not only that some one else might think you
are talking to them. Talking smack out side of your group of friends is considered
bad sportsmanship.
Over all this last year I was very pleased with the great improvement in many areas
with players on the field. I have had very little issues with players not calling there
hits. Sportsmanship has been awesome this last year - one open play that has
been handled.
This last year was a great year for airsoft for me both business wise and on the
personal player level as well. A lot of great play, sportsman ship, and great people.
It is probably the most exciting part I look forward to this next year and in airsoft. I
hope to keep it this way and for it to only keep getting better. For every one that has
been a part of that I thank you!
